No Savannah You are not allowed to be happy

That is what I think the universe is trying to tell me.
My family forgets I exist until they need me to do something.
They leave me at the house, Go get breakfast at the diner, get lunch at lunch time, well leaving me at our house, That has almost no food in it.
And we can't cook in the house or else it gets too hot, so I can't make anything.
I am hungry, tired and feel utterly alone.
I only have three friends I feel I can rely on, 'sept one lives in GA, one is a guy that my parents don't really want to approve of.
And the other one my parents don't want over here so they don't have to explain my sisters behavior.

I want to disappear.

  1. Savannah.

I've been reading your posts for a while now, and you have it rough. But you have to stop feeling sorry for yourself and try to do something.

And you'll say, I am trying to do something but my parents won't listen. You're probably going at it from the wrong angle. Your parents care about you. That's why they let you sell art at their sale and get a youtube account. They want to make you happy.

I get where you're coming from. All the time, I feel like my parents try to make life HELL for me. So I sulk, make things seem bleak in my head. THEY ARE PARENTS. Chances are, their parents made like hell for them! They just want to make sure your safe, and protect you from things.

When you feel left out or alone, you don;t tell anybody. You admitted it yourself. You just keep smiling. Stop smiling! Tell your parents how you feel and start feeling better about yourself. Ask them if you can do stuff with them. Ask to tag along. Show some affection like telling them you love them sometimes, or giving them a bedtime kiss. It;s a two way relationship and if one of you is happy then the other is. Right now, you're not happy and so your parents aren't happy. As soon as you start taking a stand, being positive, talking to them every once in a while without overreacting or getting too sensitive, they're going to start respecting you for you. They'll start being the parents you want them to be.

Savannah, I love the happy you. Sad you isn;t fun to be around. I'm giving you this advice not to make you angry but for you to take it. Just stop all the 'woe-is-me' self pity.
Talk to them calmly one night. In order to start feeling happy, you have to start feeling happy.
